Vintage Dresser Roll Call

I really love mixing the old with the new.  Adding one or two pieces of vintage finds can give the room some character and balance.  My girls are currently bunked up, and I moved the vintage dresser we refinished in white from the nursery into their room -- and I still love it (which as you know is pretty amazing!).

An antique dresser is the perfect piece for a nursery since you certainly don't want to go antique on the crib (they don't meet current safety regulations).  Are you going mid century modern?  Shabby chic?  Traditional?  An antique dresser can really drive home the style of your nursery.

Etsy, One Kings Lane, eBay, and Craigslist are all great places to find vintage dressers.  I personally like Craigslist because shipping a large item like a dresser can be costly.

I also recommend purchasing a Changing Table Tray to secure the changing pad to the dresser.

What do you think mamas?  Do you like the look of vintage dressers?
